From the pictures I've seen it looks like both the HTC 8X and Nokia 920 have curved bottoms. My old iPhone 3GS had that, and when its on the desk it "rocks" back and forth when you press buttons. Not a huge deal but it will be what i base my decision on.

hmmmm, my DVP has the curved bottom... I didn't mind it at first but, over time that rocking when it's laying on a flat surface has begun to annoy me a bit so, I'd probably have to think a bit about whether I'd want another curved bottom phone.

The HTC 8X is curve on the out sides but flat on the back.

This video shows someone using the phone while it's on a desk. Doesn't seem to rock much.

Both have a "curve."

The 920 has it on the top and bottom, the 8X has it down the sides as well. Neither "rocks" because the center of the back is a largely flat expanse.
