    A pretty old video from WPcentral shows the interview trying to talk while the 8X is playing some music via speakers. The sound is so loud and clear that you can barely hear the guy talking.

    ehhh.....might be the video compression but sounded a bit hollow to me.

    I think that was a live version of the song. That might explain a bit of the hollowness. However, I still don't think it was a very good test. A (presumably) live version of Rolling in the Deep, recorded by another camera in a video uploaded through Youtube.

    To be honest, it will be impossible to give the device a good test. Without trying it for yourself with a beats audio capable headphone. Sound test are a bit tricky.

    I thought the speaker put out a pretty good volume. I don't listen to music that way, so I'm more interested in how it sounds through a headset or plugged into external speakers. Hopefully it's better than the Beats on my Rezound.

    Another chip means more demand for power! Good lick on that. My HTC radar's sound is enough for me except for the crappy camera. Going for the active or lumia.
