this might be a stretch but i believe $150 for 710 $250 for 820 and $350 for 920 unlocked is respectively a decent price point. but i wonder if they would be selling those handsets at a loss.

Lumia 920 $599
Lumia 820 $499 - 09-05-2012, 11:11 PM #4
920 will be 649, 820 will be 499 or 549. It's standard high end/mid range pricing in the smart phone world. I don't see why Nokia would be any different.

that would be extreme overkill. the htc one x now sells for $450 unlocked with 4.7in 720p superlcd2. 720p ffc. 32gb of storage, qualcomm s4,8mp f 2.2 camera with pixel sense. i could see $350 at max because unlike allot of unlocked phones such as the galaxy nexus and one x the 820 only has a wvga display.

yeah overall the one x has many of the same specs as the 920. except for the part about floating lense, wireless charging, and puremotion HD+ screen. to put it into perspective $55 more to make the 920 than the one x. I really hope I can get this badboy unlocked straight from the Microsoft store without the ATT branding. My budget is fairly small so if worst comes to worse I will have to go for the 820. lets just hope the 820 is not over $300 unlocked. It would be great if they would knock the 710 down to $150 unlocked and make the 820 $250 unlocked

920 will probably be higher than $600 because of the 32GB of internal storage.
But if it's around ~$500, it will sell like hot cakes. - 09-19-2012, 03:32 PM #10
My "hope" is that the Lumia 920 will retail for $400 USD.
The Lumia 900 Retails in the UK for 499 GBP which converts to roughly $810 USD... So assuming that the "rumors" and listed pre-order prices for the Lumia 920 are correct at 499 GBP and/or 599 Euro that would convert to somewhere between $780-$810 USD.
The Lumia 900 debuted at either $400 or $450 "off-contract" at AT&T which I assume is due to carrier subsidy. Assuming Nokia and MS are attempting to make the 920 their Flagship device I would assume they would partner with AT&T and Verizon to strike a similar deal.
$400-$500 USD for the 920 is my guess. I'm boxing up a PS Vita and Nexus 7 tablet for auction on eBay in preparation for this price point. :P
