Doubt it. I will be leaving Sprintdroid for AT&T whenever a nice new Mango device comes out. I would prefer Nokia, but... That Samsung does look really nice, would definately consider it.

    I can't really get a feel if that's a 4" screen or a 4.3" screen. Anyone care to guess.

Looks like a 4.3" to me...

I love it, but I was pretty sure something like it was coming when I bought my Focus a few weeks ago.

    Nokia's hardware for WP7, that's what I'm waiting to get a look at :)

Almost make sme wish I had waited a few months to get my hands on one of these....almost. Getting my Focus for free was pretty nice, and having WP7 to play with has been awesome. Wouldn't trade my time with it for anything.

I really like Samsung's screen. But I don't like the cheap built feel. And HTC will have a 4.5" screen. Plus Samsung phones for some reason, don't update that easily. This isn't a problem with just WP7, I see on the AndroidCentral site, people complaining about it. But either way, I don't see any losers in this showdown.

Hmm I never had a problem with my Catpivate updating, although I always did it myself with custom ROM's and never waited for any official releases. My Focus has updated flawlessly as well. I just installed the Mango Beta and it went fast and smooth without any hangups.

Go check android central. As far as the focus goes, there are people who still can't update to even NoDo.

Sent from my Samsung Focus using Board Express

Apparently the Fujitsu Windows Phone is just a re-skinned android device.

Fujitsu WP7 handset a rebranded Android device with 12 megapixel camera

It looks pretty cool now that I see it on a good press shot.

I understand that people have had trouble with the official update to Captivates, it is a by-product of Android coming out with newer versions every couple of months and Samsung not wanting to devote resources to updating older devices. I honestly doubt that it will ever get Gingerbread in an official format, at least not before the next Android version is released.

As far as the Focus, I know that it is due to the different memory chip. I don't think that either Microsoft or Samsung knew that there was a problem until after the phones had already shipped. They are due to receive the update this month sometime though, which is still ahead of the Android power curve.

true Jeff but there were also similar statements a couple of months ago that did not pan out. Additionally theres been no definite word on the 7392 update for the v 1.3 foci like mine. (so much for a critical update thats apparently really not) In that light I am not concerned at all except for the continuing perception that samsun,ATT and MS seemingly still have some bugs to work our before the mango release! I hope they get them worked out really really soon!

Hardly official confirmation that the Galaxy SII is being rebadged for WP7, but that's how I'm taking it!

    Brandon Watson
The worst part about not being able to talk about this #windowsphone is I can't talk about how amazing the screen is. Holy mamma jamma.
