Walked into one of the lower traffic Best Buys in town and they had a gorgeous Windows 8 display front and center when you walk in the door. Surface was up front next to the best in class laptop and AIO computers. On the back of the display were the contenders, the Asus and Samsung tabs. the Samsung was stuck in bios screen but all the others were working very well.

I wish the demo software they have on these could push app updates. Most of the machines had 20+ updates and you want to show the best of the apps.

If more BBs display like this, these machines are going to sell, and sell well.

My local Best Buy has the Surface display by the mobile area and it's a very crappy display.

this one was immediately in front of that, but far enough away it didn't get lost in the mobile area. Their mobile area is really high traffic so this is a good thing too.

Mine is in front of the mobile area too. What's the deal with that though? I know it gets a lot of traffic, but you go to that section to buy a phone. And you go to the tablet section to, you know, buy a tablet. Not quite sure what the Surface RT (or any RT device) has to do with mobile phones.
