    Does the AC adapter from the Surface sold in the US work with 220V? I want to buy a Surface throug a friend in the US and use it in Europe. I need to know if a simple reduction from US to EU connector is enough.

    My surface is from USA, but I use it with 220v. You just need a small plug for your outlet. The adapter of Surface covers 100v to 240v.
