There is a replacement for Zune which allows you to use it with Windows Phone 8 but not Phone 7 - this is available from the Windows Store.

The windows phone app works with my Lumia 900.

Sorry I will take that back, While I can look at the basics the is no option to sync anything without using Zune. Hope they do not leave us Win Phone 7.5-7,8 users out in the cold here.
I would love to be able to sync my 900 with my RT tablet.

It would be extremely disappointing if WP7 users couldn't sync their phone with the tablet in the very short future...
