I was walking to the train station on my way home this evening when I spotted a Surface Ad on a bus stop in front of Macy's(corner of Randolph\State St).

I love how microsoft is advertising these in Metro type places. Sub way stations, train stations, bus stops... little bit of symbolism

Can you think of a better way (legal) to pass the time on a train, subway or bus? It's good that MS has a marketing team with good ideas on board.

What makes this a GREAT ad is that they didn't use the "Microsoft" name anywhere. Obviously it has the logo on the tablet but most people won't notice that. "Microsoft has a bad name with a lot of "hip" people so just having a great looking device on the as is smart. Get people interested prior to telling them it is made by Microsoft.

I saw that same poster in an(NYC)Astoria Queens bus stop. I wanted to take a pic but my DVP is broken.
