    Bummer as it was said to fix it. Now I have not seen the adapter go into limited connectivity but it still acts the same where it will not allow any wireless activity and I have to disconnect and re connect from wifi for it to work again. It still happens more often on N networks. Seeing as wifi is the only way to connect MS really needs to nail down this fix.

    I hope they did not just remove the limited connection warning as a way to make people think it is fixed.

    Do you use a wifi repearter? I have an Acer Iconia W510 and I have a similar problem, and in my case it is definitely caused by the repeater. No problem if I'm connected to the router directly. Changing the wifi radio channel helped. Just a thought, as I don't have a Surface.

    It doesn't work for me either. I am using a /n Apple Airport router. After the update, I still get the Limited connectivity designation and cannot connect to the internet.

    Not a repeater issue, this is a confirmed bug and happens regardless of where I am, at home at work etc. It happens more often connecting to N wifi network. The issue is definitely 100% an issue with the Surface.

    I haven't seen this happen on my own unit, with one possible exception;

    At my work we were previously using an Asus RT-N56 router which was causing similar issues -- oddly enough, it mostly if ONLY affected Windows 8 based machines. Anything running Windows 7 or previous connected perfectly fine. The odd time, the Win8/RT machines would connect, but it was spotty at best.

    Since switching to a Cisco router, the problem has gone away. The only issue we did have was that at first, the network admin had set the max DHCP limit to 30 machines, and we have upwards of 50 at a time on most days. Perhaps worthwhile to check into either of these possibilities?

    The patch seems to have fixed the connection with mine, but maybe the cause is different for other people. In my case I was connecting to my router fine, but my surface was not receiving an IP. Once I statically assigned one on the surface, I was able to access the internet just fine.

    Update. I am now connected to the Apple Airport. I went to a neighbor and I was successful in connecting to his Cisco /n router. When I returned home, I was successful in connecting to the Apple router. Perhaps Cisco straightened out Apple.

    The limited connectivity bug is fairly random and hard to reproduce on demand.

    Basically you will be doing things and your connection stop working at random intervals, disconnecting from a router and re connecting actually fixes it until the next time it bombs out.

    I had only seen the limited connectivity bug once or twice since Feb 9th when I bought the SP. I have now seen like 10 times in the last few days, not good.... I may need to go roll back some updates.
