Hello,
When I am using my Surface Pro, I can hear a slight fan noise. I expected this and don't mind it at all. When I put my device to sleep, though, something inside starts whirring louder than my old laptop. It lasts for 15-20 minutes at a time. It sounds like the fans, but it is much louder.
Has anyone else encountered this yet? Do you have any idea what is going on? I feel like this is killing my battery life while the device is supposed to be asleep.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. - 02-16-2013, 05:06 PM #2
Doesn't sound normal.. Have you changed any of the power plans?
