I've used the Monoprice adapters too...work great!
Yes, it works just fine.
The included cord is very short, so I replaced it with a longer one I had lying around.
This. Cup your hands around the speakers and it makes a huge difference.
I was editing video, with low-level volume from the on-camera mic, and was nearly impossible to hear without cupping my...

Ummm...that's how I always carry it in my pocket. And I still have considerable dust in the FFC.
I would just keep an eye on it. If it starts getting considerably worse quickly, then you should be concerned.
I don't know how Battery Bar measures this, and/or how accurate it is. I've had...
I've used it as well, with no problems. Did not expect any.

I've installed Office 2013, Visual Studio Express, Adobe CS6 (pretty much the entire suite), & a handful of metro apps & games. I still have 60GB free.
I just don't understand the storage space...
How are you determining battery wear? BatteryBar?

I agree 100%. I've never had a laptop with more than 3hrs of battery life, because I require a machine powerful enough for Photoshop & video-editing. So the Surface Pro's battery life is an...

Ummm...I'm pretty sure cameradork was being sarcastic. WOOSH'ed over some heads, looks like.
As I shoot video, I'm excited to use my Surface Pro as an on-location video review monitor,...
For the past two days, I've been using a Monoprice Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter to run a dual-monitor setup. I've had no issues. When waking from sleep, cold boot, restart, the external monitor...

I assumed the recovery partion would be restored, so I already wiped the partition...oh well.
I dislike having a single, dedicated flash drive for this purpose. So after creating the recovery USB...

You can turn cellular data on or off. In areas with poor cell coverage, it's been suggested that turning cell data off with wifi turned on will improve battery life. You'll still receive calls/SMS...
tajones65 is using VGA...that might have something to do with it?
I have both HDMI/DVI and VGA adapters, so I will test with both.
I agree completely! Should not require a workaround.
When it doesn't settle, what happens if you pull the mini-displayport plug out of the Surface, then reattach? That would be faster than rebooting (well, I guess it depends on your setup).
I just ordered my adapters (which assumes I'll actually be able to snag a Pro!) and I noticed in the specs for the DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort all-in-one adapter that the DVI & HDMI ports are limited to...
I agree with njblackberry, Monoprice is the best.
Here's a direct link to their mini displayport adapters: HDMI Cable, Home Theater Accessories, HDMI Products, Cables, Adapters, Video/Audio...
This pretty much sums up my Best Buy experience. I got there around 10:45am (store opened at 10am), and while there was a nice display set up the shelves were empty.
A salesperson came up to me,...
I re-enabled the Live Tile and background process for the Battery Level for WP8 app yesterday before charging. Today, I've used my phone considerably more than yesterday, and after 6hrs since...
LOL...no worries. And it's not the battery app anyways. An hour-and-a-half later, and I'm down to 26%. So the rate of decrease has slowed, but still discharging too fast considering I'm not even...
I've had my AT&T Nokia Lumia 920 since launch day, and never had any battery issues...until today.
I do not have the wireless charger. I charged the phone for 6-7hrs overnight with a wall charger...
