sorry if this is old news, i looked but didn't see anything. anyway i did the "diagnosis dial" and rather then touch *#2*# i hit *#0*# and it came up with some options one of them was a compass. the ones i found on the market place all got bad reviews other then one or two that cost money.

i could use my girls phones or a camera and take a video of how to do it, but its pretty simple.

The Samsung Focus has a compass? That's kind of cool. Guess I won't have to rush and get a Mango device :D.

A compass was actually in the list of requirements at launch, so all the phones have one. You probably didn't know because developers didn't have access to it until Mango.

i don't have mango, still debating if i want to wait or do it myself. but still pretty cool, i will take a picture when my girl gets here in a few hours.
