My phone is not receiving random texts, nor is it sending them out... some will get through, others wont... its causing serious issues when i try and make plans, and AT&T customer support is the definition of useless...

Is this a known problem, any way to fix this? Right now its killing me

Did you recently change your messaging option/feature? Like go from X amount of texts to unlimited or vise versa? The few times I've done that my messaging starts missing messages and then just stops working all together.

Regardless, this has worked for me where I have messaging issues. Just e-mail AT&T (don't call, that gets you nowhere) and say your messaging service isn't working and you want them to reset it. Once they say they do, restart your phone and it (hopefully) will work.
