So, I installed a Kingston 32GB Class 4 disk and things seemed okay... until it hit the 10GB mark and read/write slowed to a grinding painful hault.
So I pulled out my sd card and "restored"... but here is what happened: It now shows no 8GB of flash. In fact, all it has is 15MB of storage. So I restarted, restored, etc. etc... nothing. Anyone have the same experience and have a fix??? - 11-22-2010, 10:01 PM #3
You have to do a hard reset of the phone to the factory base state if you pull the SD card. WP7 shares all available storage, so when you yank a card, it needs to be completely reset.
You do this by holding power, camera and down-volume all at the same time for a few seconds, then following the onscreen prompts to reformat.
