The S-pen is a bog-standard Wacom pen, only rebranded. Look for any review of any Wacom-based tablet PC (aka, most of them) over the past decade to get an idea of how it works.

It works exactly as it should. I haven't experienced any issues, it has very good recognition even with my handwriting (which isn't the best).

The S pen is a bit small, but that's because it slides back into the tablet with a dedicated slot. The pen comes with a tool that allows you to remove the nibs and replace with new ones if you ever wear them down. I would recommend downloading the Wacom Tablet pc driver. The pen only includes one click-able button, and does not have an eraser; however, the Wacom driver allows you to set the button to be used as an eraser! This is very useful if you use software like Photoshop, Sketchbook Designer/Pro, or even Corel Painter. I have used all three and can confirm it's working and the pressure sensitivity seems to be more accurate.
