The Galaxy S III is made in China. Given that the ATIV S is a derivative, hardware-wise, I'd be surprised if it's made in Korea.

One (small) reason why I like HTC products is that they're made in Taiwan by fairly-paid union workers. Samsung was the same way up to the S3, which is a bit of a shame. I understand why they did it (price competition), but...
