So I have my current phone up on ebay and I will need to now make a choice on which new phone to get. Samsung Focus or HTC HD7S. I'm going to need to order it within a day.

I care about signal strength, sound quality, camera(both stills and video). I am hung up on the screens though. I like the larger screen on the HD7S but the SAMOLED on the samsung is pretty sexy. I've been googling and reading reviews but it's hard to narrow it down further. Any suggestions?

The Focus is the best cell phone I've used. The screen is fantastic and up to par with the iPhone 4 (my opinion, from personal experience)

Have no experience with the HD7s

If I had the choice for any WP7 phone, it would definitely be the Focus.

of course. When you set up Gmail, contacts will be synced by default.

I had (well still have) a LG Neon. I keep it as a backup in case I need a crappy phone to hold me over till a better one comes out.

With the money I got from selling my phone it will cost me an additional $50 to get the venue pro.
However if I get a focus i'll have $30 left over.

Any additional thoughts?

Well now my auction is officially over. It went for a bit more than I expected so now a venue pro will cost $25 more than I sold the phone for. Or the focus with $55 to spare.

Focus. I would investigate the memory card fiasco first though. Not sure what cards do or don't work but I know 8gb of storage is hardly enough

I'd highly recommend checking ebay for a 16gb card from Samsung. I've never had a problem with the two I've bought. (Lost one focus)

I don't know if they ever solved the 32gb card problem though if you want a bigger card.
