It's a Finnish company, with an American CEO. How does Stephen Elop communicate with his staff, and does he work out of the corporate HQ in Finland? Somehow I doubt he's fluent in Finnish...?
Not sure why, but I thought of that when the controversy about Nokia switching to WP7 came up a while back. I couldn't help wondering what kind of culture clash might be going on there. - 09-22-2011, 11:42 AM #2
As I recall, he was in Finland for a while, but is now in California.

He worked for Macromedia as well for 7 years before Adobe took them over.
