I would like to purchase a new laptop, but I am holding out because of W7. The current operating system is full of problems, notice everyone downgrading, and I don't want to get a new laptop with an old operating system. I just can't wait for it to get here!!

You can buy a new system now and get a free upgrade to Windows 7 when it launches. Check out the information on Microsoft's site: https://windows7upgradeoption.com/Landing.aspx

I am confused, the OP was talking about Windows 7 upgrade for regular computers not mobile right?
