I had switched it onto aeroplane mode when I went out today - I have no data left, but that's a different story/carrier issue!!
Tried to switch aeroplane mode off, was taking ages to process it, tried to exit out of that screen couldn't, left it for a few minutes and now I cant get it to switch on.
This is the first major issue I have had in the 2 months I've had my Lumia.

Edit - trying soft reset, just found many threads about this, sorry!!

Soft reset should fix your problem :-)

Your live tiles might stop working after this soft refresh. If that happens, do a regular reboott (just the power button) and the live tiles will work again
