Tried WeChat, it doens't alert until you open the app. I hope they fix it.

I've use wechat and it works great. You can leave it running in the back ground if you want alerts. Works really good.

Hey everyone,
I have been using wechat since long time . Firstly on android and now on wp lumia 920. Yes you are very right that it is a great app but not very well built for wp though.
If i use it for 10 minutes or so it makes 920 go hot as fire and also drains lot of battery. I hope someone either wp or wechat come out with a update for this.
I would love it to run lot smoother and faster. Main problem for me is whenever i recieve message the app takes too much time to startup ...and also there is duplicate notification after startup......
they should make it how it works on android..

I did notice video chatting burns up some battery, but the phone did not get "hot". Every video chat burns up battery i figured and there is always room for improvement. UPDATE!
