I got my shiny new 920 today and set up with no problems... until I try to get the micro sim card in.
The draw is too big for the sim card, it moves around in the draw slot thing.
I've tried putting it in every way but it will not register. In desperation I tried my old sim card but that is too big.... has anyone got any ideas?
Any help would be very much appreciated!!!

The draw is too big for the sim card? Are you sure you have a micro sim and not a nano sim? What phone did you take the sim out from?

It's one standard sim size for micro sims. The draw cannot be "too big"

The sim card was sent with the phone. I just upgraded with Orange and the sim card was in with the phone.
The sim is very small so it could be a nano sim....

Easy way to tell - a micro SIM has one corner cut off (like a normal SIM) and is a good fit into the SIM tray.

From looking at that it must be a nano sim.... why would orange send out a nano card though?

Question is why would Orange send you a phone with card inserted in the first place!?

The sim was not inserted in the phone it was on the credit card sized carrier

I'll hazard a guess that the answer to "why" is "because they made a mistake in the warehouse".

That is what I thought... have to say the handset is awesome!!
I'll give orange a call in the morning....

You can buy an adaptor to fit your nano simcard onto the micro-sized tray. That's what I am using and it's fine.

Yeah. Just get a nano sim to micro sim adaptor as already mentioned. Works fine.
