I came from an android, Drop my phone and broke it. Love android but curious about WP8.

I just got this 920 as a temp phone. Wanted to try a new OS out. Will have this phone till the note 3 come out, unless WP can sway me from android.

Seem like theres all kinds of problem for this phone. What should i watch out for? how do i fix it?

Kinda like the battery, seem like a hit or miss. How long does it last on 1 full charge to consider as normal?

Any tips or tricks would be appreciate it. Thanks!

1 full charge, consider NFC off, background task to minimum, 3 mailbox active sync and replying occasionally, whatsapp on and some chat, WiFi always on with 1hr active web surf, LTE 30min web surf, 45min music, 30min call, 20+ text, some chatting with fb, people hub checking, should last about 8-9hrs, die at 10th hr.

1 full charge, NFC off, bluetooth off, no background tasks, 2 email accounts check every 15/30mins, no whatsapp or kik type messengers, wifi always on, 1:30h wifi browsing, 30mins 4g/3g browsing, 30mins music, 2mins or less of calls, 15-30 text. Lasts me around 10h, probably less.

I never leave my WiFi on. If you have constant access turn WiFi on and disable data. WiFi is a huge drain. I get anywhere from 14-26 hours depending on games I play that day.

This weekend I got 2 days and 1 hour with 14 percent battery left.

i get a full days battery with my new Lumia 920 (10-12 hours) depending on usage. Phone is amazing and the WIN 8 platofrm is still new and maturing. You may end up loving it.
