    When I send Gmail via Lumia, the name attached to the email is different from the one if I send the Gmail on a computer.

    it seems to use the same name I use for windows live account or Facebook. Under sync settings, there doesn't seem to be a way to customize it.

    anyone know a work around to this? yes, I don't use the same name for social medias and personal emails.

    I take it you're using the "send mail as" settings in Gmail, with an alternative email address defined as your default? I don't think Windows Phone has any way to know about that.
