Well, I decided to jump on the WP8 bandwagon again. Previously had the 8x for a while but decided to give the Lumia 920 a try this time around.

I use navigation A LOT, and discovered today that with Nokia Drive, I can't use navigation if the phone screen is turned off - no voice prompts or anything. Is this the case? If yes, that's absolutely unacceptable. Also, when playing music and using navigation, the music stops completely for the voice prompt. What happened to lowering the music volume like other major navigation apps on other platforms?

I'm sure some will say it's still in beta, but these seem to be very basic features.

Did you block Drive in background tasks?

Navigation works with screen off for me. Voice prompts and everything.

Seriously, i never turn my screen off when on navigation and i have a radio for music. So i don't know what's up.

Mine cuts off the music but plays again once it finished prompting... I know on the 900 it would turn off the music when the app started driving and prompting but I just turned it back on and it prompted and played music side by side.
