My lumia 920 has just stopped receiving texts even though it makes the txt received sound,plus if I go to send a txt the txt box goes blank and doesn't show up in the message thread?very frustrating!!!any ideas

this is a "while i'm at it" post. have had episodes where a friend did not receive a number of text I sent her. within the past couple weeks, there was a similar event where she was texting me and received none. in another instance, was out the country for a week. when I returned and turned the phone on, got nothing from her even though she had sent me texts. she's an iphone user on sprint. ideas?
