    when the 1 inch bar comes up at the top, any way to get rid of it?

    quite annoying stays there for what seems like ages, often blocking content

    You should be able to just swipe it out of the way. Or click it if you want to be redirected to the content.

    You should be able to swipe it left or right away and it should disappear :s

    Got the same problem on my 7Pro. No Swipe or click is possible. I must wait till they disapear.

    On the 822. Swiping to the right ONLY gets rid of it.
