I got a replacement 920 through AT&T a few weeks back, and in that time, it has been stolen out of my car before I could send it back.
I know 'Find My Phone' is great, and it works great for my current phone. However, the old phone doesn't have the SIM in it. I know it was stolen because the thief uploaded a picture to my facebook... ugh.
I'm hoping to set something up to the extent that the phone just alerts me somehow when it gets turned on, so I can try the 'Find My Phone' tool then.
I can see both phones on my windowsphone.com page.
ANY help would be massively helpful. I want to get it back before I'm charged retail price for the broken phone.

If I were you I would immediately get the IMEI and go file a police report. It might help you with AT&T if you can't get it back.

Report the phone stolen to AT&T and file a police report. Make sure to tell them that the thief posted a picture to your Facebook.
