He did nothing but try to answer a call and his screen wouldn't turn on. We tried rebooting. I can feel the phone vibrate and the bottom buttons light up. No noises no nothing. What should we do?

Did you try to press the Volume Down and Power button together? If you do that for up to 10 seconds and the phone does not turn on, try connecting it on the charger and do the same. If that does not work either, it probably needs to be exchanged.

Woot thanks! That worked. I assume that's the hard reboot for the phone.

That is a soft reset. A hard reset is vol down, power, and camera button at the same time.
