My lovely new lumia has died. I opened whatsapp and the whole phone froze with no end in sight, so i (vol down + power) did a soft reset. phone turned off, vibrated, but the screen never came back on. Since then I have tried all sorts of button combinations suggested by nokia care and nothing will get the phone to do anything other than vibrate once. The screen never turns on. I'll be sending mine back in a couple days for repair. Anyone else had this problem?

btw, I have done soft resets plenty of times before because of the OS freezing or something along those lines.

Have you tried leaving the phone on the charger for a while (maybe 30-60 mins), then trying the button combos?
