I have a $25 for 2G plan with att , and I can harderly use all this 2GB data. But sometimes, I just really need to tether my loptop or mini with my phone, when Im nowhere near wifi. Yet, I have to pay extra $35 in order to have att enable internet sharing function.Therefore,Im wondering if I unlock my920 ,would I be able to use this internet sharing function without paying extra?

Interesting question. I hate that ATT rips us off with that crap. The rom the ATT version uses check with ATT every time you try to turn on sharing, so I assume a generic version of it would not do this? But I'm not sure. So annoying. My old android POS phone did this without a problem.
