    Just wondering. I installed Skype back and I noticed my battery life is shorter now than before, but I am still not sure because I also changed some settings.

    Some with experience may be able to confirm this.

    Yes. That's why it's labeled a preview. Skype for Windows Phone and the new MSN backend hasnt be fully ported into Skype yet. Wait until February/March
