i just noticed this today.
when the phone is sleeping (or when the screen is off) and i push the power button, the three buttons at the bottom would momentarily light up, then turn off immediately. shouldn't it stay on?

so i thought maybe it's because the light sensor on the front of the phone detected light and it's shutting the lights off. this is not the case. even in complete darkness, the buttons light up, then shut down.

On my att cyan 920 in bright light the three buttons at the bottom do not light up, but in a dark environment they stay lite all the time even if the back button is pressed.

When mine is sleeping (screen black), when i push my power button the 3 buttons light up and the phone comes alive waiting for me to swipe up. (buttons stay lit)

i think my front light censors are not working. i just noticed, when i make calls and i put the phone against my cheek, the screen stays on as well.

the light censors are not working.

i'm gonna request a new one to be sent.
