My favorite keyboard app on Android was SwiftKey because it learned phrases you used most often and would predict your next word, making it very easy to type one of those phrases by single-tapping each word.
Lately I've noticed my 920's native keyboard is doing that, and working pretty well! For example, I often will type "At Alewife waiting for train", and now when I start a text message with "At", it will suggest the rest of the phrase one word at a time, so each word is just a single tap to enter, just as if I were using SwiftKey!!!
It doesn't seem to do it quite as often as SwiftKey did, but it is getting surprisingly good, and is an unexpected benefit! Has anyone else started noticing this as well? (Or is this a feature I just missed reading about before now?) - 12-04-2012, 10:39 PM #2
I'm new to WP but this is definitely something I picked up within the first few hours of usage. I like it a lot.
