How did it crack? Did you run a steamroller over it?

apparently these things are spontaneously destructing. Lijun, I wouldn't risk it..odds just don't look good. No... scratch that ( no pun intended ). Get the replacement screen, get it installed and sell it on ebay QUICK (may be able to break even given the clusterfk release by Nokia). May have some better luck with the HTC.

Etradesupply is legit. I got my spare replacement one x parts from them and I have no complaints.

Do you have insurance on the phone through your carrier? Why not just go through them?

Amazing the roundabout way that one can find out about something cool. Never new about cinemagraph but am now checking it out. Very cool! . Thanks Lijun for the topic, thanks socialcarpet for the laugh and thanks ncxcstud for the hint!

Lijun, sucks about your phone...given the BS about cracked screens on the forum, maybe choose a more appropriate title, like "My Kid trashed my screen, what about this replacement?" But hey, if it wasn't for your title, I wouldn't have found out about cinemagraph. Pretty cool that your Nokia is still alive after your son kicked it to the ground. That probably wouldn't have happened with another phone. So if I understand that correctly, you could just get the 40 buck OEM Nokia Lumia 920 Digitizer Touch Screen? Oh... maybe not, they are out of stock now (had them last night). Good luck with the phone.

Maybe your mixing insurance with warranty. Warranty never covers this kind of damage. Do you have any insurance? Usually home contents insurance covers these things.

Indeed. the lumia parts in this website is very expensive, it is more expensive to fix it than buy one new.
