Besides the stores, and of course, your own. I have yet to see one on this campus of 55,000 students.

I doubt I'll see another Lumia 920 in public until after the holidays. I know the world is full of Android and iPhone users, and a few Blackberry fans, so the chances of meeting someone with class and sophistication such as my own are slim.

No. But then again here in the midwest the majority of phones I do see are phones I don't even recognize.

I've seen two. Then again, I work at BB Mobile, so a lot of people walking in purchasing cell phones.

Only by a sales person (or manager) in the store. I'd be happy if I could see one in my pocket. They have no stock at any stores near me in Los Angeles. It's a shame to have such low inventory at launch. They should pull all ads until they get stocked up.

I'm also at a huge university and chances of seeing one are still slim I bet. I don't leave my majors building too often. Even then... on Friday I had a few people there at the store for the Note 2 and one didn't even know the Lumia was a Windows Phone.

I was in NYC this weekend and didn't see a single one, and I was at a bunch of touristy spots (AMNH, Times Square). I sure was happy to wield my cyan 920 though, hoping to catch some eyes as I was taking a ton of photos. Felt pretty cool, actually, since it seemed like I was the only person in all of NYC with this phone.

Well the store where I bought my girlfriend her black 920 (she was sold on it after I showed her my cyan one) said they were sold out of the red model when we asked if we could look at it. Then I also saw someone else in the store using a white model. Combined with the fact that the phones are front-and-center in the store (and presumably, other AT&T stores as well), my subjective opinion is that they seem to be selling fairly well.

I'm not sure who has it, but this week someone got a WinPhone in my office.
I hear it going off all the time. - They obviously don't know how to silence their device.
-___--Chances are, I'm guessing. - 11-17-2012, 12:44 PM

I've been commented more on my 920 in the first 2 weeks compared to 2 years with my iphone 4..

not in the east Houston area yet. Over 90% of stores sold out here

I haven't see any in the wild yet. People see mine though and I get a lot of "cool phone", or "what kind of phone is that?", or the occasional "is that a Windows phone?".

So I went to see Skyfall earlier this week (which sucked by the way), and I was about 20min early so, like everyone else, I decided to take out my phone and waste some time. Well I look bellow me (I'm sitting near the top of an IMAX theater thats packed) and all I see is a sea of iPhones, there must have been at least 150 people using their iPhones. Looking over that array of static icons and glossy gradient clad menus I yearned for something different, I yearned for something colorful and exciting. I felt sad all of the sudden, sad that we have reached a point where, at least in regards to technology, everything feels the same. What happened to individuality? I'd love to sit looking down over that theater and see a menagerie of colorful tiles and phones, a red lumia here, a blue 8S their. I'd love to see people with phones tailored to them, I'm tired of this mediocrity, this melancholy of uniformity. I want Windows Phone!

I don't know.. i kinda like the idea of having the lesser known/lesser used device. I miss when Nokia used to make luxury phones like the 8890 or the Luna. Now those felt like classy solid devices. All metal and glass.
Now we have toys like the 920 and HTC 8x. all plastic. nothing luxury about them

well Nokia can do that. But they are describing Windows phone. nothing else and Wp is colourful. that is what people describe windows phones
