I got my Nokia Charging Stand at a Local AT&T store today. Check it out! It has NFC!

Does anyone else here have this stand? I think the NFC feature is really nothing special. Anyone else find a better use for the NFC?

Cool. I'm looking forward to getting the stand. Do you always have to tap the phone to get the NFC to work? After you set it up the first time, will the app that you have selected just open whenever you place the phone in the stand? Also, where did you get the stand? I've only seen it online at AT&T and they only had the white one.

The cool thing in NFC is that you can use certain apps to write the programs/things on the NFC tag and let the phone to operate these.

The NFC Hardware is in the Phone. The Charger Stand has a Built-in NFC Tag.

When the App pops up Showing you your apps, you set as many actions of Apps to take place when it is put on the charger.

For Example, When i Dock mostly I dock to Play Internet radio, set radio app and what station to play, and I also like the Big clock etc to show....It lets you set Macros to take place with that Tag Built in.

Like the way a Car Dock sets the Car Mode, screen position, Nav, Big Visual Buttons etc..

    Hope this Helps.
