Awesome price for a super quality phone. I am going to buy one. Oh yeah and the Lumia 820 is only $50 cheaper its a no brainer to go all in with the 920 if buying off contract! http://www.att.com/lumia920

I paid $678 (taxes included) for my 920 from Rogers Canada.
Mind you it's unlocked. I am still going to complain about the big price difference and the fact that I didn't get a wireless charger.Nokia Lumia 920 | Rogers Wireless Canada

for T-mobile customers in USA, this is of no use unless you are in the re-farming area.
missing of 1700 Band kills this awesome price and deal - 11-07-2012, 08:23 AM #8

Great price, so now I'm sold. So if I buy it off contract, will it work with Straight Talk? Although I thought Straight Talk can't do 4G on AT&T phones.

yes ST can do 4G on ATT phones, it is doing 4G right now on my 900.
The $449 price is not without a catch though, you have to get a plan....so much for "no commitment" - 11-07-2012, 08:57 AM #13

This makes my Nexus 4/Lumia 920 battle harder.

well since it is no commitment, I suppose you could port out on day 1 of the plan and not incur any penalty.....and they SHOULD credit you back. I think they are just scumbags for making you do that. Also, they are going to ding you with their 36 dollar "activation fee" which is a huge reason I DO NOT have service with shysters like ATT.

who cares, get the phone and pop in a ST GSM-A SIM....no need for unlock and you get BETTER coverage than ghetTo-mobile.

I would try buying it from the ATT store on Friday, or Amazon (no idea when they will have it)...If the ATT store ask you for your acct info, just tell them that you are buying it as a gift for someone who doesnt have an upgrade. Shouldnt be necessary, but just in case.
Amazon definitely doesnt ask you for acct info to purchase a phone off contract. The ATT site might not be setup for people to purchase anything outside of accessories without being a att customer. - 11-07-2012, 09:39 AM #22
waiting for Amazon for the no tax angle and free shipping angle.
