Check-in for 7.8 Update Through Zune, Have you gotten yours yet?

I'm anxious to get this update, through Zune so I don't have to re-configure everything, and want to know when others are able to get it as well.

I went ahead and forced the update a week ago. Gonna get the 920 with tax return money so I'd have to restart from scratch anyways. Tiles are much better now, enjoy when it drops for ya!

I also thought that version did not contain the firmware update, as people are unable to install the updated nokia apps?

I guess they did not mean midnight, I feel like I am being choked, LOL.

Nope no update here...but Telstra are flat out fixing cables after the floods in qld (Australia)

I think updates often come around 10am on the day of... I wish it were midnight though!

Nada here. Flashed back to 7.5 to get this officially incase they decided to roll out a different firmware or something. I wonder if anyone tried forcing the update? Good to see users congregated for this though, lol.

Well it's now the 30th pacific time as well. Although 10 AM Pacific Time does sound about right :(. which means at least another 10 hours. :amaze:

just checked to my zune software and i found nothing update about 7.8 yet.. its just me or anybody else?

I just plugged my Rogers Lumia 900 in, nothing.

Yeah, I am curious how this update will effect those of us that flashed 7.8 on our phones. Is this version going to be the exact same as the Nokia release we have? Will the official release only update from 7.5? etc.

Just plugged in ... no update, I'm still @ 7.10 in Phoenix, AZ

I got a weird feeling this update may not be happening for us today...

I highly doubt it'll come today, there's been so many rumors about it that I'm just waiting for a word from Microsoft or Nokia.

I was under the impression today was a "sure thing" as revealed here last week.

Keep in mind that it's supposed to be released around 1PM EST, so we still have almost an hour before it goes live. I imagine the update servers are going to get slammed as soon as the update goes live, so everybody will need to be patient for a little while longer. We should all have 7.8 on our phones by the end of the day.
