First image was indoor taken with my HD7 last year:

This photo of me was with the Lumia in low light settings at night:

I wanted to compare the lumia 900 macro to the Focus (original) macro, results below.
Lumia 900
Settings: Scene (set to Macro) Focus (set to Macro). Everything else is the default settings.

Focus
Settings: AF Mode (set to Macro). All other settings default.

Lumia's macro really is impressive. Does have trouble focusing on small objects and focuses on the background instead, but flower and such look great.

To add, I HATE the two step camera button on this. The tap and focus shots come out MUCH better.

someone on XDA noted that he was having a horrid time with macro shots and just focus in general. He downloaded another camera app from the store and the differences were crazy. Not only was the picture in better focus, it had better color balance and detail. A few of you guys on here should try it out and compare some pics. the app is called SophieCam...

Here are a few sample shots I took around my apartment.
Not terrible, but not great. Better than my old iPhone 4, about on par with what I got with my Samsung Infuse.
My cat (flash, very low light):

Old Samsung Infuse Box (No flash, bright living room light):

Some weird sculpture, property of my girlfriend (No flash, bright living room light):

Old and busted smartphone on old and busted laptop (Flash, medium living room light):

Would you believe that the first three shots were with flash and default setting.. horrible.

These two I had to play with a bit,

All these pics were on a dark stair case with a light on off to the side. Still, even the pictures that look bright enough, have WAY too much noise. - 04-20-2012, 11:35 AM #124

My pictures are turning put extremely dark and I can't seem to fix it with settings, is this a problem for many people or do I possibly have a bad camera?
