Taking photos and seeing photos on here really takes away that the Lumia 900's camera is subpar. Even without a BSI sensor, a lot of these photos are pretty amazing. Think that kinda states its more of a settings issue. Anyways, I wanted to share this blog post by Nokia about photos taken with Lumia phones (710-900). Some of those 710 photos are pretty amazing imo. It was posted June 15, 2012, and I don't think it's been shared here yet.

Awesome! I love the dog and the latte pictures. :)

The dog picture is cool. I love how his blue eyes and whiskers show so much detail.

Yup, just more proof that this phone will take fantastic shots if you use it right.

LOL. Reminds me of the old Eddie Murphy skit from SNL.

Sometimes it pays to use the camera button. Ran a little test. Tapping made it easier to focus on the coffee cup but washed out the colors a little. I took three different pictures by tapping the screen and they all came out the same.

Using the camera button required more work to get it to focus on the cup but also produced better colors.

In the photo of the pool tiles how did you overcome the phone making the image darker because for me when there is an extremely bright source of light, whether reflection or direct source, the entire image turns dark. Really awesome photos.

The rest of my photos from today. At picture 000656 I changed the exposure to -1 and that changed the images dramatically.
