Having weird problem with messages. The notification (number on the start screen) will not go away,and sometimes when I tap messaging app,it wnt start, just goes back to start screen. Anybody had or know how to fix this problem?

I have found the root of the problem, under cellular, there's a setting call don't roam. This is preventing me from getting 3g, when I set to roam, or get any type of 4g, my phone goes nuts. Messaging app does 1 of 3 things. A. Returns to start screen as if I pressed the windows button, B. Loads messaging but shows no messages (blank) 3. Works fine. Also while in 4g, I get no notifications
