Whilst listening to my music through my headphones recently it cut out and since the phone does not recognise headphones are in the jack so just plays through speaker, has anyone else had this problem? Have tried turning off the phone and other headphones though still does not work?

Do you think it is a hardware problem with the jack?

I've had something similar happen when it will no longer output music through the jack. Every time it's started working again after a restart. I use my phone for music frequently and it's happened three times in two months.

I used to have this issue regularly but it's not happened for a number of weeks, so Nokia could have fixed this.

I've been having this issue too. I can adjust the headphones a little bit and they'll start to play. It's happening with three different headphones, too. Where do you go for Nokia repair, in case it's a hardware issue?
