How do I set my Nokia Lumia 820 email frequency to "Manual" in the sync settings? (Is it all 820s, mine is Vodafone branded)

I had the option on my 800 and I have seen it in the manual for the 920 that it's an option but don't see it in my settings?

I have seen I use a mass of data at midnight every night which must be where it uses the "daily" option that I've currently got it set at.

some version does not have that option, att for one does not have that option.

You can choose that manuel settings on Gmail settings but as i see there is no option like ' Manuel' or something like that on hotmail.
