Lumia 820 OS version after Portico Update

Hi everybody,

I live in Turkey and there's no official Portico update here. But I'm suspicious that my phone already has the update, because in that update it's said that you can send text messages as a group, you can refuse a call with a text message etc... I can do all these things right now with my Lumia 820 in Turkey although there's no official update. So I'm writing down my phone's OS version to see if I have the portico or not. Could you guys please send yours in order to compare with mine. Thanks a lot...

So, how can I do something coming up with portico? I really don't understand. What are the new things in Portico? I can do all that is supposed to have portico. But you say 10211.204 needs update... What's going to change with my phone after future portico update in my country?

is your phone brand new? all new lumia's are now shipped with the portico update

I bought it on 29th, December 2012. Is it brand new? I really don't know...

It should be brand new. Open your Phone, type ##634#, if call timer is 0 then it's probably new!

Anyway, be glad that yours came with Portico, ain't arriving in my country till about 2 months later lol..

I typed ##634# and then i see this page saying:
color variant+life time counter

00:00:00

I think it's brand new, thanks a lot...

By the way where are you from? 2 months is so long...

Singapore, global variant is due in a month, but knowing my carriers, they'll be lazy to push it out. Android's their focus.

I just update my 820 with a GB variant and works fine. The only thing I loss is the 4G connectivity option. Any one know which Portico ROM have the 4G enabled?

The variant that has 'EE' in the title is 4G. I did the same upgrade the other day and it has the 4G option.

My 820 is a sim unlocked and unbranded device and I think i need a unbranded rom because I hate operator apps. Thanks for the heads up.

EDIT:I will try the Spain variant.

There was NO operator app's. I had the normal app load that comes with WP8 and Nokia.

I found a developer variant (from europe, 059R4L7), hope it have 4g enabled. I will try it once i get it.

Ok, the developer variant have 4G enabled. Its a clean ROM with no operators garbage.

Hi

When I press the life timer code, it shows 000000 though i have been using my lumia 820 for 2 months now. How can I know exactly how many total minutes I have used on my phone ?, Any other code or is this an error cos i thought that by pressing ##634# i would get my usage numbers. Can some one help ?

RM-825_EE_UK_Matt_Black_V19_Default(059R1W9) is unlocked and works on non-EE 820's. My phone originally an unbranded 820 I bought in Germany. It is also 4G enabled and has NO EE app's on it.

Anyone know which Portico update I should choose to my Norwegian 820?
Can choose between:

a quick question, are these roms easy to install and can they be downloaded and installed via a computer?
