    So sometimes when I use the phone, the email app will just throughs me back to the homescreen. I assumed it crashed. But sometimes it does work. There aren't really any patterns. It is getting a little frustrating too. Anyone with the same experience?

    I had the same issue - and there are more people with this problem! See here Windows phone 8 email bug / lumia 920
    BUT read all the posts (before trying a hardreset :-)) - in my case uninstall of Skype solved the problem today....
