I thought I'd throw this out there since this issue happens to me even after a fresh master reset. Anyway, I've been playing around with the camera, and I've noticed a significant focus time and snap time. Even with the two-step shutter (holding down the camera button until it focuses) after snapping the pic, it takes a good...I don't know....3-5 seconds to take and then switch back to the lens.
Anyone else having this issue? Bear in mind it might just be me, I haven't fiddled with any of the camera settings yet.

3-5 seconds? No, it never seems to have taken that long. Just launched it now, and there was a 1 second lag after fully pressing the button, but every single photo after that was instantaneous. Immediately after snapping, the screen switches back to live view so I can take another.

Well, until you get a faster card, you could always plug in the phone to drag & drop from the phone to the SD card - that way you're not missing out on app space AND you have no shutter lag :D

Really appreciate the post! Just was having the same problem, and changing back to phone storage solved it. I have a "Class 10" microSD in the card, but its a generic brand. Will probably pick up a Sandisk in the near future!

I'm a full time professional photographer so I'm quite familiar with camera shake blur issues. I've gotten great stuff from the 810, you just gotta keep the camera still!--------------
