I just moved up from the Dell Venue Pro, to the Lumia 800 (RM-819). I love it! It's nice to have a fast device for a change!

Where did you get your RM-819 from? All I can find are the RM-801's?

    Mumzy,

I got mine directly from Nokia. Although I just bought another one off of eBay for 350 bucks. The only difference between the RM-801 (Int'l) and RM-819 (US version) is that the 801 is missing the 850Mhz band for EDGE. Neither AT&T or T-Mobile use 850Mhz for EDGE these days, so you're not really missing much.

The RM-819 are the units that come with that 800 dollar Lumia package you can buy at Amazon. They also give these away to developers as prizes/perks to encourage development.

I'm pretty sure that ATT uses the 850 band for 3g is some areas. I'm a train conductor and I've noticed throughout my travels that in some places I get nothing but edge but my engineer still gets 4g hspa+ on his iPhone 4s.
