I currently have an htc desire hd. im looking to upgrade and windows phone have me interested, especially the lumia 920. unfortunately, telus doesn't carry it.
so that leaves me with 4 options
1. lumia 620
2. Samsung ativs
3. another android or apple (really don't want to)
4. hope for telus or nokia to release something new

what would you guys recommend? not to fond of the ativ, but if its that much better than the 620, I guess I could give it a try

Why not just switch to Rogers? I did that after 20+ years with Telus and got the 920.

I did also just buy the 620 and unlocked it bit not a substitute for the 920.

Check into Rogers Small Business Plan. Hard to get but can be done.

ATIV S is better in almost every single spec. However, the experience offered by Nokia will be very different. Nokia introduces exclusive apps every month and delivers the best WP experience IMHO. If you don't care about the specs get the 620. If you do care about camera, storage, etc, however, get the ATIV S. Also, check if the apps that you are going to use are available in the appstore.
