The 620 in my opinion is a much better buy than HTC 8s (hd space and Nokia Apps). I may just have to order this phone for my Mom or perhaps my Girlfriend, if I do not get one for myself (820 is what I prefer)

Agreed. Looks very nice, just hoping for the battery to be somewhat solid. I actually prefer the 620 over the 820 for price and the display.

I had mine for 2 days (bought in HK for 2000HKD), black back cover is matte

The black one is matte mate. Don't worry ;)

The only one glossy ones are red and green if I'm not mistaken. I got myself a white one and it's also matte.
